Chameleon Belt Tensioner

Chameleon Belt Tensioner

thingiverse

I designed a compact, straightforward belt tensioner to fit under my print bed. To build one, I only needed an M3 screw and a nut. It takes approximately 10 minutes to print at a speed of 70mm/s. For those experiencing issues with loose belts, I've created three versions with enhanced tolerances to help secure the belt in place. The 1.5mm thick design matches the thickness of the belt itself, allowing for an extremely tight grip on the belt and ensuring it can be pulled really tight. This tensioner was successfully tested using PLA (white) and PETG (transparent red).
