This 3D model is solid, consisting of five main bodies and six screws. It is designed specifically for GrabCAD Challenge participants. To use it, access the challenge at this link: https://grabcad.com/challenges/the-sustainapack-challenge. The download includes various file formats such as Solidworks 2014 Assembly and Part files, as well as STEP files for compatibility. However, upon downloading the initial challenge file, it was evident that significant work was needed to prepare it for submission. The original model contained thousands of surface bodies, making it far from ready for use. To address this issue, approximately 5 hours were spent meticulously combining and refining the surfaces into the final five solid bodies. Radical surfacing techniques were employed, resulting in a file that is 99.5% identical to the original sponsor-provided 3D file. The model also includes additional bracketry for added versatility.
