Chalet Bird House feeder

Chalet Bird House feeder

thingiverse

Hello everyone!\r\nThis is my first upload to Thingverse, and I'm excited to share it with you.\r\n\r\nI've designed a birdhouse/box that can be printed in pieces, then assembled without tools.\r\nThe design was necessary due to the unreliability of wood filament for long prints.\r\nWith this design, you can create different walls to match various styles and birds you want to attract.\r\n\r\nFor now, the hole is 28mm, perfect for great tits, tree sparrows, and pied flycatchers.\r\n\r\nI'll soon add sticks and different front walls for other birds.\r\n\r\nUPDATE 1: I fixed a 1mm gap between sidewall/roof, backwall/roof.\r\nUPDATE 2:\r\n\r\n* I printed out a PLA test, here are the results:\r\n\r\n Base: 4 hours\r\n Side wall: 4 hours\r\n Front wall: 15+ hours\r\n Back wall: 4.5 hours\r\n Roof: 19+ hours\r\n\r\nFor reference, a 33cc beer bottle is about the same size.\r\n\r\n* I added 5mm and 10mm sticks (one for main entrance, two for internal use)\r\n* I also added a second style feeder to match.\r\n
