She laid back in her recliner, completely relaxing. Her head was pillowed on a stack of extra cushions, supporting it at just the right angle to soothe her weary neck and shoulders. She felt as if she had just dropped everything, abandoning herself entirely to the pure indulgence of simply doing nothing. Her eyes were half-closed, drinking in the serenity that filled every fiber of her being, even as the gentle motion of the breeze rustling the leaves outside her window whispered an occasional message that floated right back into the recesses of her subconscious without demanding so much as a single reply from anyone at all - nothing more than the faint, steady throb of peaceful silence which had somehow woven its own private fabric around the soft curves of this long, curved bench she leaned against now with such perfect contentment.
