I crafted my own customized chair utilizing FreeCAD version 0.17, specifically optimizing its geometry to make it perfect for 3D printing. To simplify the printing process, I concentrated on a minimalist approach, leveraging a single, straightforward design that would reduce the complexity of the model. This strategic design decision ultimately resulted in a single folded line with an imposing thickness of 40mm, which I thoughtfully selected to achieve a solid foundation for the chair's stability and strength. A major challenge I encountered while working on this project was dealing with the chair's massive size, which made it unwieldy for typical 3D printers to handle. To mitigate this issue, I considered reducing the overall dimensions of the design or adjusting the scale of the model to make it more printer-friendly, thereby enhancing its viability for practical applications in various environments and settings.
