Looking closely at the original chair's geometric structure reveals that it cannot be printed independently without any form of external support. Consequently, utilizing the Drape command in Rhino 5 enables the creation of a more fluid and unencumbered mesh design, devoid of any necessary support structures. The primary trade-off is the loss of sharp edges from the original concept and the distinctive lattice pattern that was embedded beneath the chair.
