Chair Leg Glides (3D Printed Then Resin Cast)
thingiverse
Floor surface in my house is made up of porcelain ceramic tiles, extremely hard and abrasive. I've grown tired of constantly replacing hardware store floor glides on my chair legs every year or so due to their short lifespan. I designed my chair glides using Fusion 360 and then printed them out on a 3D printer. Since I knew PLA wouldn't be a good wear material for the chair legs, I created a silicone mold of the chair glides and cast them in durable epoxy resin instead. Please note that these glides are not suitable for carpeted or hardwood flooring. There are two different size glides available: small ones for the front legs and large ones for the rear legs. You'll need to adjust the size according to your specific chairs' needs.
