Chair Leg Caps (Costco)
thingiverse
Chair Balls - I invented these to replace the worn-out plastic leg caps that come with folding chairs sold at Costco. After years of using them on a concrete basement floor, the original caps had deteriorated to the bare metal tubing of the chair legs. That was bad news for my new flooring. They're designed round, so they fit universally into all 4 legs' angles. They slide perfectly into the chair legs, requiring no glue at all. Although I ended up gluing 32 of them onto 8 chairs in the end. Make sure to print the open side facing upwards, and a raft is also a good idea. To ensure a smooth surface, I sanded (Dremel) the rough spots left by the rafts. Simply use a pair of pliers to pull off the old ones.
