To suit a 16mm leg, a 17mm chair foot cup is printed. The print measures slightly smaller by approximately .6mm; black tape can be used to fill the extra space. This customized item was obtained from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:8599. The instructions for printing include making it slightly larger than needed, using a modified Makerbot 2x printer. Printing specifications include low settings, 100% infill, PLA filament at 195°C and bed temperature of 50°C. Kapton tape is directly used as the printing surface with the following options: foot_DI=17, foot_DO=19, foot_DB=19, $fn=100, and foot_H=16 for foot thickness, outer diameter, base diameter, infill density, and height respectively.
