Kartell Unveils First-Ever Chair Designed with AI-Powered Tools Kartell and design icon Phillipe Starck teamed up with Autodesk's revolutionary artificial intelligence to create a game-changing chair, marking the brand's first foray into AI-powered design. Starck himself took charge of harnessing the potential of prototype generative design software, working closely with engineers at Autodesk to perfect the cutting-edge piece of furniture, titled A.I. The A.I. Chair was made possible by a seamless collaboration between Starck and the technical wizards at Kartell, as they experimented with the possibilities of combining art and AI. As one who understands what makes the creative process tick, my Blender model was heavily inspired by several references to push its capabilities. My ultimate goal: create an extraordinary object that's greater than the sum of its individual parts.
