Another submission for Art 297. Designed in Rhino 5 with precision and finesse. Inspired by the iconic Iron throne from the hit TV series Game of Thrones, where power and royalty reign supreme. Starting point was a basic rectangular prism, carefully crafted to serve as the foundation for this majestic chair. Next, the array command was utilized to generate the necessary components needed to bring this sculptural masterpiece to life. The Bend tool played a pivotal role in arranging these prisms into a intricate "nest-like" structure, much like the complex web of alliances and rivalries that unfold on the show. Finally, Boolean merge/join operations were employed to seamlessly integrate the various bodies together, while a strategic Boolean subtract operation was used to create a flat region for sitting, reminiscent of the coveted thrones upon which the characters in Game of Thrones claim their dominance.
