The ProjectThis project was to see if I could make a chair with back support, an outdoor one.I previously made a stool and thought a chair would be nice to make.Printed the test rings and found out that 28.6 mm would be a perfect fit.So I adjusted the Fusion 360 drawings to this size.Due to that every print is different from another I probably should have printed 28.8 mm instead.I had to sand the rods and sometimes  had to scatch the inner of some 3d-printed parts. So some patience is needed, or a lot of.However, it was a fun project.I printed the parts with PLA but PETG would be better, at least for outdoor use. Material4 rods 420mm (legs)4 sticks in the middle each 270 mm2 back sticks approx 700mm2 or 3 vertical sticks as back support 200mm eachquite a few 3d-printed partsand some screws The 3d-printed partsFor most of the parts I have used the paint-on support tool.I have attached Prusa Slicer files so you can see how I used the support tool.A minimum of overhang, really only in top of some holes. CustomizeI have included the Fusion 360 files for you to adjust the values to your need.E.g. I made the tilt of the back support 5 degrees, should maybe be 7 degress for better comfort.Remember when changing the angle it has to be done for four parts, two on the left side and two on the right, where the back support rods are attached. Please let me know if something seems to be strange or faulty. If I can I will help. …moreThe boards for the seat are 20mm but I would prefer 12mm. It looks a little clumsy. No print-files are attached thou you must change the parameters to meet you needs. The attached Prusa slicer files are provided so you can see how they are placed and where the paint-on supports are used.If you can't edit the Fusion files yourself maybe I can help you to get the right size!Questions? Let me know!
