Chainsaw Bear A large-sized cyborg bear miniature for 28mm games. Pre-supported and unsupported files included. Also includes a simple printable figure base. The Chainsaw Bear is an abomination created by a strange sect of Ancients that sought ever more deadly creatures to hunt. Frustrated by nature, they turned to making their own monstrosities. The Chainsaw Bear is a shining jewel amongst their works; in close quarters it is an unparalleled killing machine. It sports twin chainsaws on its arms, where it still also has access to its original and deadly bear claws as well. Its mouth has been increased in size, with a second row of teeth added, just for fun. It also sports two additional robot limbs, each tipped with a deadly spinning sawblade. The model itself prints in two separate parts: the main body and the head. The main body has been hollowed to save on resin. Dark-Platypus Studio specializes in making models for role-playing game enthusiasts. Our models are designed to be printed in 28mm scale, the perfect size for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or other games that are often played on a 1” grid. They are also designed to stand up to actual tabletop use: no ridiculous spindly bits that look awesome but are going to break the first time someone sneezes. Paintability and ease of assembly are also important concerns to our design aesthetic. I sculpted these cactus-dinosaur monsters for use in our Gen Con/Origins Mutant Crawl Classics adventure scenario ‘Maximum Uberdrive’, but they have never been released before now! Dark-Platypus Studios publishes the Mutant Mayhem Minis line of models, which are officially licensed for use with Mutant Crawl Classics, published by Goodman Games.
