Chainmaille Bracelet
myminifactory
An entry into the Sinterit SLS Printing design competition's jewelry category.\r\nUpon examining a printing method that requires no connection between parts, chainmail immediately came to mind - notoriously and monotonously tedious to create worldwide. And I think this turned out quite well.\r\nDesigning the piece was somewhat frustrating at first, but it essentially boils down to a single strand of chain patterned in a circle with small clusters as a hem. You can try counting them if you'd like!\r\nAll parts, except for those at the ends, are separated by at least .2 mm, and the Lisa should have no problem printing it effectively. I'm eager to see footage of this being removed from a pile of plastic dust. It was designed to be fragile, yet intended as a piece of jewelry.\r\nThe render is created in Fusion 360, with an appearance resembling silver.
