Introducing a chainmail-inspired holiday wreath with holly leaves and berries, this printable design challenges the limitations of support material. With build-in supports and extensive bridging, it's possible to create a chain ring without excess support material. The file is included for your tinkering pleasure, but beware that some parts are fixed in place rather than properly mated. This design enters Proto Paradigm Winter Wonderland Contest, thankful for the extended deadline. To print this wreath, calibrate bridging first to avoid fused links. Download "Supported Wreath.stl", avoiding generating support material as they're already included. Printing time is about 7 hours at 350 mm/s. Post-print, carefully remove supports, especially the fragile vertical links. Suggestions for improvement include smaller supports and thicker links. Note that scaling may be required for some printers.
