Chainmail Dress

I'm submitting my entry for this year's Port Townsend Wearable Art Show, a showstopping piece titled "Modern Mermaid". This sleek and stylish dress is a true marvel of modern technology, having been fully 3D printed using an old Makerbot Replicator. I designed the intricate chainmail pattern in OpenSCAD (check out the attached scad files), carefully crafting each link to be strong, lightweight, and most importantly, incredibly flexible so it can stretch to fit any body type perfectly. My talented models, Ellie and Xuny, deserve a huge thank you for their invaluable help in bringing this vision to life!
