ChainGuard

ChainGuard

To minimize clutter, I opted to keep just the middle chainring on my bike since I rarely used the other two. To prevent the chain from falling off, I installed a chainguard that replaces the outer chainring and works with 5-bolt, 94BCD cranksets featuring a 32-tooth chainring. For added protection, I considered using 3mm plexiglass or wooden guards but decided to remove the inner ring and front shifter as well. However, I also need a solution for preventing the chain from falling inside; perhaps this accessory could help: http://www.dsb-bonandrini.com/prodotti_scheda.aspx?s=3&ss=10&m=49&p=1267. If anyone has designed a DIY alternative, I'd love to hear about it!
