I'm excited to share my design with you! I'm participating in the #beyondthebrick contest with this unique creation. This was actually my very first published design, which debuted on Thingiverse back in summer 2016 and later made its way to MMF 2017. Initially, it started out as an experiment to craft a 3D printable joint for figures. Over time, I transformed it into a set of parts that can be used as a construction kit. To make things easier, I compiled the files from my original model into one single object. Kids absolutely love playing with it! You can use it to create all sorts of fun items like bracelets, geometric shapes, or even weird and wonderful creatures. I've included two separate files - one for a scorpion and another for a robot - complete with all the necessary parts for Oscar and Martin (the scorpion and the robot). Additionally, I've included the 123Design files that I used to create this design, which you can edit using Fusion360. Feel free to get creative and remix it however you like! For those looking to print these designs, I've learned a thing or two through trial and error. Here are some printing tips: when working with multiple parts, try using horizontal XY expansion to make the pieces "grow" and achieve stronger or weaker joints. If your bed adhesion and first layer aren't quite up to par, consider using Raft. Two to three shells should suffice; infill isn't too crucial in this case.
