Chain Pull for Ceiling Fan

Pulling the Chain on Your Ceiling Fan Switch This sleek knob is designed to hold a 3mm bead chain with connector snugly in place. The creator of this design admired the unique look of factory chain-through knobs, but hated that fan and light controls resembled each other too much. How It's Made The original idea came from this design on Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:115633 It was rebuilt from scratch using Tinkercad to create a unique shape. Printed on a Printrbot Simple Metal in glow-in-the-dark PLA, with layer thickness set to 0.2mm for high-quality results. Assemble Your New Knob First, slide the bead chain through the top of the knob and out the bottom opening. Next, attach the connector piece at the end of the chain. The knob will then fit over it like the factory design you admired.
