Chain Marker for 8 mm DIN Anchor Chain

I am sailing on the Baltic, and like anchoring. To do this properly, you need to know how much anchor chain is out. I am using colored clips for this, that are clipped into the chain every 5, later ever 10 meters. Since these clips are getting pretty expensive, I decided to design my own. The clips are intended to be clipped onto the chain, usually about 5 for any single lengths, to make them easier to see and in case that one is getting lost. Note that the bottom and top are different. They are intended to be left in place - it is indeed difficult to get them out again.I have tried a few different versions. This is the fourth iteration that appears to be working pretty nicely for 8 mm DIN chain. I have not tried it on ISO chain, which has slightly different inner dimensions.
