Chain Link Hook Housing
thingiverse
One of my coworkers brought in some bright yellow plastic chain that he wanted to use to block off a section of shelves. At first, he planned to cut out a piece from one link and glue it into the gap at an angle to make a hook. I offered to print something more polished, and this is what we came up with. The initial version was made before widening the hook and adding a second screw hole for extra stability. It's a smaller design that gets the job done. The halves are held together with #4-40 screws, but M3 screws will work just as well. If you don't need to take it apart later, a wood screw could also be used.
