These are chain guards designed specifically for our First Tech Challenge robot, built to protect the critical components of our drive chain, which utilizes innovative mechanum wheels that provide exceptional maneuverability. The tabs on these guards seamlessly integrate with a piece of 8/20 inch tubing in our drive train, ensuring smooth operation and maximum efficiency. As you can see from the last picture above, this drive train is the backbone of our robot's movement system, and proper protection is essential to its overall performance.
