The chain torsion and tension/lengthening control unit comprises essential components such as the chain form guide, chain distortion controller, chain tension/lengthening controller, and an alarm lamp. The chain distortion controller, displaying a cross-contour of the utilized chain, helps identify defective chain members that fail to pass through a typical chain segment, triggering the controller's upward movement and activating alarm switches. Additionally, the chain tension/lengthening controller features a spring-loaded special profile plate with three zones, designed to measure the internal size of chain members. If lengthening occurs, resulting in an increased (longer) inner hole diameter, the profile plate is forced to lock the tensioned chain member, simultaneously engaging the chain tension/lengthening switch and illuminating the alarm lamp.
