The original 3d Model which was published on 2020-03-21 on Sektchfab and was not ready for print. The author of this 3D Model is: SakuSaku https://sketchfab.com/ssaku530 The original Link to the model: https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/chaika-aa795b77d8c344548fc714657efbcd4e Because this model is under CC licensehttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ and free to remix, transform and build upon the material, I tried to "fix" this model for 3D printing. This was an extremly project, I underestimated a bit the difficullity to be honest. Everything on this object was not ok. A lot of broken surfaces which were not attached to each other. 2D Elements, scaling issues with the height ...and so on. But in result, it was totally worth. it took me nearly 2 weeks to fix Chaika. The first print was body and head together....which resulted in a mess because I needed so much supports it broke my entire surface. --Sad face-- Anyway! After I reconisdered the model I detached the head from the body and I had a super clean print. I also added a longer version of the bipod, if you dont want to print the coffin. But who would print the coffin princess without her coffin? :) You can easily glue the parts with instant glue. The parts for the weapon fit together easy without sanding, just a drop of glue and it is sticked together for ever. The bipod is very thin and depending on your printer it could be possible to sand the tip a bit. Also make sure you clean a bit the holes where the bipod will be attached.I used a toothpick for this and it worked perfectly. If you like my fixing project(s), please feel free to watch the timelapse, give a like and maybe a subscription. Mandrake https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWhugKWaCb08w3UwXU_lYhg
