If you divide this model in two along the center and lay it down flat, it will print without supports required. However, if you print the single model upright, you'll need to enable supports. The finished model should stand at 7 3/4"-8" (190-200mm) tall, so scale accordingly. I experimented with various gold finishes, finding that Plasticote's gold spray paint produces a respectable result similar to rub'n'buff but with easier application. For the closest approximation of the original vac-metalised finish, I applied mirrored faux gold leaf over a coat of the spray gold, thus minimizing any noticeable gaps in the process.
