The CH-53 military helicopter model is crafted in 3DS MAX 2010 without plugins, featuring a quad-based topology that allows easy adjustment of resolution via subdivision modifiers. All parts and scene helpers are organized using a naming scheme. The model showcases moving components such as doors, windows, rotors, landing gears, and a folding tail linked to animation sliders for quick pose selection. With a full interior and cockpit, the model is scaled to real-life size. Textures are provided in 8192x8192 JPG format, including color, specular, glossiness, transparency, and reflection maps. The original 8K PSD file for texture generation is also included. A free pilot and co-pilot with helmets are provided. Note that the Humvee in the renders is not included but available for purchase separately. The model required over 640 hours of work and comes with easy instructions for use in various formats, including 3ds max 2010, FBX, and Obj.
