I was dissatisfied with the stock BLV cooler, as it appeared to direct a stream of air directly onto my heater block when utilizing a genuine E3D V6. Many of the remixes seemed to suffer from similar problems. Upon examining the airflow through the cooler, several design shortcomings became apparent, prompting me to modify its internal structure to foster laminar flow. I could have opted for the new twin fan blower designed by Ben, but that would have precluded using an inductive probe.
