Mounting a rod to a cold forged component is relatively straightforward when you have the right hardware on hand. Typically, you'll want to start by applying a threadlocker compound to the bolt that will secure the rod, ensuring it threads into the receiving component smoothly and preventing any future looseness. Next, simply attach the bolt to the end of the rod, aligning the holes or studs with care. Make sure not to overtighten at this point.
