Cetus3D mk2 extended z cap for endstop
thingiverse
This is a version of the Z axis cap designed specifically for the Cetus 3D MK2 extended printer. It's an integral part of the conversion to open-source TinyFab MCU, which necessitates a mechanical switch for endstops. Additionally, this design incorporates an integrated cable holder. I attempted to model this component in a minimalist and elegant manner. To assemble the Z axis cap, use two M2.5 12mm screws to secure the switch firmly in place. Meanwhile, utilize two standard M3 screws to attach the cap to the linear rail, ensuring everything fits snugly together. Upon researching online, I discovered that various production versions of this component exist. The primary difference between these variations lies in the position of the rail bolt holes relative to the aluminum beam. If you encounter any issues with this design not fitting your printer properly, please leave a comment so I can address the issue and incorporate an alternative option or provide instructions on how to modify it using Fusion 360: https://a360.co/2TphklR. It's also worth noting that you may want to explore my other designs for Cetus 3D printers, particularly the X cap, which is a crucial component for TinyFab mod.
