The genuine model is challenging to calibrate accurately due to its absence of distinct boundaries. It is relatively easy to measure with precision using a ruler or calipers. If this calibration setting is set to 100 mm, the error margin will likely fall within 0.1 mm. I believe this calibration tool works effectively for all Tiertime printers. The 2mm version is specifically designed for printing with ABS materials. To use this calibration tool: 1. Open UP Studio and navigate to Calibration > Vertical Calibration > XY. 2. Press the Default button, then press Save. 3. Print the CetusXYCalibrator.stl file and place a reference dot in the foreground. 4. Measure the length of X1 and X2 with calipers for optimal accuracy; remove any raft material if possible. 5. Enter the measured lengths for X1 and X2. 6. Press Save to confirm your entries. 7. Print the CetusXYCalibrator.stl file again, placing a reference dot in the foreground. 8. Measure the length of X1 and X2 with calipers; accuracy is improved when raft material remains intact. 9. If X1 and X2 are identical in length, no issues exist. 10. If lengths differ, repeat the process from step 1 or perform mechanical adjustments separately. To verify final accuracy, print the following design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3884201 When folded, accuracy can be confirmed by checking whether edges match perfectly.
