PLEASE, go to the Things-Files tab and load the stl-files separately. The blade of the lock handle knob thing needed to be trimmed a bit. Done. The parts are oriented as shown in the pictures or original design please. The newly attached lever part moves downward. On the part with the mount screw holes, the smaller block goes downward. Causes of this issue include: - Losing power - Reset caused by USB - Unknown causes Even triggering the initialisation button when it is running already can interrupt holding the axis. No power on the stepper motor then, which can cause a crash. Unfortunately, this is a common issue with the printer due to its stupid design. Even the MKIII has been affected by the same problem. Status: The lock is mounted and even without applying the spring, it works. The longer arm functions as counterweight. When the y-axis rests on the lock, a simple routine makes the way free: power up, initialize. This puts the lock lever arm out of the way. Attention: The ground connection wire loop going to the y-axis needs to be redirected a bit otherwise it conflicts with the lock. A flat screw 3mm can be fed in from the bottom side and then put on the nut from the visible side. TODO: - Testing: It does OK. Great help is provided by letting the lever rest on it. - Adding an electrical contact that warns me sitting in front of the printer when the lock is engaged would be a great feature.
