This is a straightforward and rugged z-axis shock damper designed for use in CETUS 3D printers, utilizing an air damper from standard cabinet doors. The two brackets can be printed with any 3D printer model. After experimenting with other solutions to address the z-axis issue, I developed this concept and successfully integrated it into my own CETUS 3D printers. Material costs come in under $5.
