Cessna Wing Strut Camera GoPro mount

I designed this mount for a Cessna Skycatcher 162 while learning to fly, which gave me a clear understanding of the plane's actual angle of attack when landing. The initial version, "wing_strut_mnt03," features the GoPro mount inline with the strut, but it wasn't ideal. The revised version, "wing_strut_mnt04," has the GoPro mount turned 45°, allowing for a better fit. After printing, you can secure the camera using grip liner, easily found in hardware stores and kitchen departments, along with a large velcro strap. Several other versions are currently being developed to accommodate Cessna 172 and 182 models as well. Print Settings: Printer: Flashforge Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 50% Notes: Multiple iterations were printed in ABS and ColorFabb's XT, yielding promising results.
