Cessna Strut Mounted GoPro Adapter

This is a mount for attaching a GoPro to the front of wing struts on Cessna aircraft. It was initially designed for a Cessna 150G and worked perfectly. I now have a Cessna 172 and will try it on that and report back. The mount is non-articulating and will either face forwards or backwards. Mount is held onto the strut by cable ties. The mount will not move if thin pieces of rubber are laid against the strut, then the mount cable tied on top of that. The flat top piece is glued onto the mount, then secured with four tiny screws at each corner. The angle adapter offsets the angle of the strut to allow the camera to be horizontal in level flight. The photo shows the mount and camera attached to the left wing strut of the Cessna 150G.
