I print buttons with white filament as my first step. Next, I switch filaments and use Simplify3D to load labels and adjust the Z offset from 11.5mm to zero so that printing starts directly on top of the buttons. The smaller the nozzle diameter, the better the labels will look. I recommend trying one button and label before printing all of them, allowing you to fine-tune your printer's settings. Button dimensions are 11 x 6 x 11.5 mm (LxWxH), while label height is 0.4 mm.
