The Cessna O-1E/L-19 Bird Dog was initially manufactured for observation and liaison tasks by the US Army; it later saw widespread use during the Vietnam War. Post-retirement, these aircraft were passed on to the Civil Air Patrol for search and rescue missions. However, due to several accidents involving CAP Bird Dogs, they were sold to private owners. Currently, majority of these planes are owned by private individuals, flying museums or displayed as static exhibits at various aviation establishments. This model is available in multiple formats, features animated propellers and control surfaces, and can be utilized for in-flight animations, airport ground scenes, videos or simulations. It also comes with diverse liveries and is built to scale in Max, with dimensions within 3% of the original aircraft.
