Drone photogrammetry captures the rich history of Cerro del Oro in Granada, a mine that has yielded gold for centuries, first tapped by the Romans and later by the Arabs, who made it one of Spain's most productive gold mines. The mine was reopened in the XIX century by a French entrepreneur, but his interest waned quickly, forcing the mine to shut down again soon after. Despite several proposals to revive the mine, experts agree that the largest gold deposits lie hidden beneath the Alhambra.
