Glazed ceramic jar from the 1st century CE, unearthed as part of a communal tomb excavation in Dibba Al Hisn, Sharjah, a site rich with Roman-Parthian period artifacts. This remarkable specimen is now on display at the Madrid museum exhibit in Spain, where it bears the catalogue number DIB190. The jar's discovery is documented in Sabah A. Jasim's 2006 publication, "Trade centres and commercial routes in the Arabian Gulf: Post-Hellenistic discoveries at Dibba, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates," which appeared in Arabian Archaeology and Epigraphy (Jasim 2006). In the article, Jasim highlights the significance of Dibba as a major trade hub. Further insight into the jar's origins is provided by J. Mª Córdoba's book "La era de Mleiha: navegantes y caravanas antes del Islam," which showcases the artefacts from the exhibition held at the Museo Arqueológico Nacional in Madrid between April 18 and May 29, 2016 (Córdoba 2016).
