Cerambot delta printer 65° fixup wedges
thingiverse
My Cerambot 3D printer comes with 65° prism posts, vertical aluminium extrusions that are off by 5° from the standard 60°. This misalignment prevents me from assembling the printer correctly. The wedges provided allow for some correction of this angle, but they're not a perfect fix. Each wedge is 2.5°, and using six at the top and bottom gives me a total adjustment of 15°. This lets me assemble the printer into a triangle, but it's not ideal. The result is a triangle that's slightly larger than intended, causing issues with the top and bottom plates being too small. To compensate, I have to attach them using washers. A better solution might be to file down the posts to get the correct angle, but this method is riskier and harder to recover from if something goes wrong.
