A centrifugal pump is a mechanical apparatus that transfers rotational energy from one or more impellers, or powered rotors, to move a fluid. Fluid enters the quickly spinning impeller along its axis and exits via the vane tips of the impeller along its circle due to centrifugal force.The fluid is directed toward the pump output and its velocity and pressure are increased by the impeller's operation. The fluid from the pump intake is directed into the impeller by the specifically constructed pump casing, which also slows and regulates the fluid before it is discharged.
