Centrifugal dust separator and collector
thingiverse
Inspired by UNDER DUNN handcraft video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2OStvRteRE&t=919s) I took the liberty to 3d model a scaled centrifugal dust separator using Fusion360. Inlet and outlet diameter 50mm, Tube inner diameter 100mm, lenght approx 50cm. I made a shorter second version (30 cm) with only one stage (the second) for who doesn't need the separation part but only the collecting one (i.e. there is no planner) The outlet part is separated in two distinct models that have to be glued together after been printed (outlet1.stl and outlet2.stl), in this way every part can be printed without any support. The three parts that form the centrifugal part (two cones and the fins) are held together by a M3 threaded rod (threaded hole modeled with parts) to achieve a perfect alignment. As soon as I understand how to do it :) I will edit this post with CFD simulation SEPARATOR AND COLLECTOR (two stages) all files COLLECTOR (one stage) files: 1,6,7,8,9,10,11 The Acrylic tube must be holed where the tube support stand (one hole per stage).
With this file you will be able to print Centrifugal dust separator and collector with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Centrifugal dust separator and collector.
