Centrifugal Cyclone Pipe

Centrifugal Cyclone Pipe

This is a pipe for smoking tobacco or other products that are legal in your jurisdiction. The concept and design are patent pending. But an aerodynamic cyclone is used to centrifugally clean the smoking vapors. I designed the dimensions of the device such that, at typical human resting inhalation rate, the cyclone should remove particles down to 1 micron in size based on the average mass of particles in tobacco smoke. Other things that people like to smoke, like a certain common herb that has particles that are 1.5 times more massive on average, will be filtered out proportional to a higher or lower degree proportional to their particle mass. It is not a complete product in and of itself and requires a 14 mm glass bowl or other fixture to be added to separate the fire from the polymers. I used PLA for mine as PLA is made of lactic acid chains. I suggest you use natural PLA for your own as it shouldn't off-gass when exposed to the temperatures of the combustion gasses from smoking and my personal print has stood up to months of hard testing without even losing the definition on a print line right where the bowl fits in.
