Centrifugal blower fan
thingiverse
I designed a centrifugal blower fan that can be mounted with a 775 motor. The design is made available for anyone who wants to adjust it for different motors, but I won't have time to help with the adjustments myself. To make the process easier, I've included my Fusion360 file. The motor used in this project is available on Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01L6EKGGQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I've created both clockwise and counter-clockwise housing models, denoted as cw and ccw respectively. The bottoms of the housing should print fine without supports, but the tops may benefit from them to avoid overhangs where the bolts go in. The holes for the housing bottoms are designed for M3 threaded inserts. An M5 bolt/nut is also included to hold it together, but M3 bolts with threaded inserts seem to work just as well. I modeled a small trough that was intended to be used with a TPU gasket to help keep the fan sealed, but it's working fine without it. If I decide to make a gasket, I'll upload it here too. All impeller STL files are designed for counter-clockwise rotation, but you can simply mirror them if you want a clockwise version. I've included several different impeller designs: V1 was for a different motor and requires minor adjustments (my file is available), V2 was an experiment that put out an acceptable amount of air, and V3 is the one I'm using now. You can see a video of it keeping a Nerf bullet suspended in air at https://www.instagram.com/p/B32WiQ9HBPh/. The fan printed well on both my delta printer and corexy.
With this file you will be able to print Centrifugal blower fan with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Centrifugal blower fan.
