Centre Pin Reel version 1.0 Designed specifically for smaller trout fishing, this reel requires further strengthening to tackle steelhead effectively. The reel features a ceramic bearing that is press-fit into the other side of the mechanism. The two components are held together by the bearing's fit onto a shaft. A redesign is underway and will be posted soon. Key improvements include increasing the thickness of the rod connecting plate and adding contours to the reel for improved line handling. The bearing dimensions are 22mm in outer diameter (OD) and 8mm in inner diameter (ID). The total cost of this project comes out to $4.50, broken down into: $3 for the ceramic bearing $1.50 for the plastic components
