The Cosa 2018 Excavation reveals a crucial trench in the central area of the bath complex, known as Central Sounding 2. This trench is presumed to be part of a massive frigidarium that dominated the bath facilities. Notably, Central Sounding 3 (2018) and Central Sounding 1 (2015) also uncovered sections of this room. Located north of this trench lies the East Terminal Wall Interior, excavated in 2017.
