Centerfinder for Circles
thingiverse
*Updated Version - v3* I made it a bit more rigid, and reduced the slit for marking with pencil a bit more. For Woodturning i need a fast way to mark the center of round objects. sometimes not-so-round-ones like small logs. This Centerfinder features a small ledge on purpuse, because a bigge one makes it hard to mark the centerpoint of a small log. The Slit in the middle works with blunt pencils as well as sharp ones. The sides of the centerline can be used to offset a marking. its distance is 5mm from the centerline. Also its design helps to save material, but is still pretty rugged, even with PLA If you need a higher ledge, you can scale the model on its Z-Axis. Printsettings: doesn't matter. Its designed for a 0.4mm Nozzle and a Layerheight of 0.2mm
