Center Finder using 6-32 screws
thingiverse
This is based off of the center finder I found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:672343 but I designed it completely from scratch because I wanted to be able to utilize hardware I already had at home. I have lots of 6-32 screws and nuts for electrical work, so I designed it to use those. The screws and nuts are all countersunk so they shouldn't ever rub on any finished woodwork or anything. Capable of finding center on items from 0.4" - 3.7" While assembling I would recommend using locktite on the threads, or else using locking nylon ring nuts, so that the screws don’t work themselves loose as you use the center finder. If you print this please post a comment or upload a "make". I'd love to see what I've designed helping someone else.
