Center Guide for Drilling Precise Holes and Marking Center Lines Using a Standard #2 Pencil. The outer pegs are designed to be easily moved between three holes, allowing you to adjust the guide to accommodate boards of various widths up to 6 inches. This flexibility ensures that the guide can be used with any board size. This center guide can be used in conjunction with or without two 608 bearings, which are commonly found in skateboard components. The hole is approximately 22mm wide when a bearing is not used. The addition of a bearing enables the drilling of perfectly perpendicular holes, making it ideal for tasks such as doweling and creating floating shelves. If you prefer not to use the pegs, which fit snugly into place, you can substitute them with 3/8-inch bolts. These bolts should thread in tightly, providing a secure connection.
