I spent roughly a month crafting and perfecting this centaur design. In that time, I gained valuable insights into skin and hair shader techniques. The toughest hurdle proved to be creating the fur for the equine portion of the creature. Luckily, I stumbled upon Romain Lemaire's free Fur Generator: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/1Vo5K - a game-changing discovery that significantly simplified the process. With the generator and an anisotropy map at my disposal, I was able to generate a convincingly realistic fur texture for the horse.
