<p>I added the original Z lift on my laser but found that the carriage component didn't fit the provided laser very well so I modified it to better fit the groves. I also made some spacers to replace the provided spacers that position the Y limit switch to make room for the laser head now that it takes up more room with the lift mechanism. You will need (2) M3-0.5 X 60MM flat head screws to replace the 40mm that come with it. This will reduce the cut area by 20mm but will allow the Y axis to use the homing switch when using the Z lift.</p>
